Notre Histoire
Heritage since MCMXXIV
In the spring of 1924, the cabinetmaker Étienne Doré opened a small atelier in the Faubourg Saint-Antoine. He had returned from the Exposition Internationale with three drawings, two commissions, and a single, unshakeable conviction: that ornament, properly drawn, is not excess — it is meaning.
One hundred years later, his great-granddaughter Camille leads a workshop of fourteen craftsmen — gilders, marquetry specialists, finishers, and a master mécanicien who fits the bronzes by hand. We remain a private atelier. We accept eighteen commissions a year. We keep our drawings.
