Learning
through living.

A Montessori school where children grow gardens, cook real meals, build with real tools, and discover that learning isn't separate from life โ€” it is life.

Five ways
to learn by doing.

Each strand of our curriculum starts with the child's hands โ€” every concept is rooted in real, beautiful, useful work.

Outdoor Learning

all weather. always outside.

Forest school sessions twice a week, year-round. Children identify trees, build shelters, and learn the seasons in their bones.

Step Outside

Gardening

from seed to supper.

Children plant in autumn, tend in winter, harvest in spring. Then we cook what we grew, together, in a real kitchen.

In The Garden

Life Skills

real tools, real respect.

By age six children sew, bake, hammer nails, light fires safely, and care for each other with grace.

Practical Life

Play-Based Math

numbers you can touch.

Beads, rods, and golden materials. Children meet abstract concepts as physical objects โ€” math becomes a friend, not a fear.

Count Together

Arts & Music

expression every day.

Watercolour, clay, recorder, choir. Children always have access to materials โ€” never asked to "do art" only on Fridays.

Children are not
tiny adults.

They aren't tiny anything. They are whole humans with their own pace, their own questions, their own quiet logic. Our job โ€” as Maria Montessori taught us a hundred years ago โ€” is to follow that, gently, patiently, with materials and space that respect what they're already trying to do.

So we don't measure them against last year's child. We watch this one. We notice when she's ready, and then we step back and let her surprise herself.

Come spend
a quiet morning.

Observation days run every Wednesday. You'll watch a class for an hour, then chat with a guide over tea. No sales pitch โ€” just children, working.
