In The GardenBy age six children sew, bake, hammer nails, light fires safely, and care for each other with grace.
Practical LifeBeads, rods, and golden materials. Children meet abstract concepts as physical objects — math becomes a friend, not a fear.
Count TogetherWatercolour, clay, recorder, choir. Children always have access to materials — never asked to "do art" only on Fridays.

They aren't tiny anything. They are whole humans with their own pace, their own questions, their own quiet logic. Our job — as Maria Montessori taught us a hundred years ago — is to follow that, gently, patiently, with materials and space that respect what they're already trying to do.
So we don't measure them against last year's child. We watch this one. We notice when she's ready, and then we step back and let her surprise herself.
Observation days run every Wednesday. You'll watch a class for an hour, then chat with a guide over tea. No sales pitch — just children, working.
We're a small school on three acres of working garden, twenty minutes from the city. Bring a coat — we'll likely walk outside.
